Built for openings that never stop working
An industrial roller door is the main gate to your business. Trucks, forklifts and staff pass through it all day, and if it jams, deliveries stop. That's why our industrial doors are specified around how hard the opening works, not just how big it is.
We use heavier-gauge steel slats, deep side guides with wind-locks on wide spans, a reinforced bottom rail, and springs rated for the number of cycles your site actually does. The result is a door that stays aligned, runs smoothly and keeps your premises secure after hours.
Where industrial roller doors are used

- Factories, plants and engineering workshops
- Loading bays and dispatch docks
- Mini-factories and units in industrial parks

Specification options
Curtain: galvanised or powder-coated steel slats in a gauge to suit the width and the security risk. Insulated slats are available for temperature-sensitive stores.
Operation: chain-gear (manual hoist) for occasional use, or single-phase and three-phase industrial motors for busy openings. Every motor has a manual override so the door can still be opened during a power cut.
Safety & control: safety edges, photocells, push-button stations, key switches, remotes and timer closers can all be added.
Extras: wind-locks, vision panels, hood covers, bottom-rail locks and personnel (wicket) doors next to the main door.
Fitting doors on new developments
We regularly supply and install doors across whole industrial parks and new warehouse builds. Tell us the number of units and opening sizes and we'll price the full package, work around the building programme and hand over every door tested and working.
Keep it running
A door that opens dozens of times a day needs regular attention. We offer planned maintenance and fast repairs so a breakdown doesn't stop your operation.

Frequently Asked Questions
How wide can an industrial roller door be?
Industrial roller doors can span very wide openings, often 8 metres or more. Wider doors need heavier slats, deeper guides and wind-locks, which we specify after measuring the opening.
Should my industrial door be manual or motorised?
Doors used several times a day, or wider than about 4 metres, should be motorised. A chain-gear manual door suits openings that are only used occasionally.
What happens to a motorised industrial door during load-shedding?
Every industrial motor we fit has a manual chain override, and battery backup can be added on compatible systems so the door keeps working during power cuts.
How much does an industrial roller door cost?
Heavy-duty industrial roller shutters typically range from R10 000 to R50 000 excl. VAT, supplied and installed, depending mainly on size and motor. We give a fixed price after a free measure.
